Selecting Your Network PILOT Drives

HYDRAULIC PUMPS
Used primarily with powerboat hydraulic steering systems, or on larger sailboats with hydraulic steering. Available in sizes 1 to 3.

LINEAR HYDRAULIC RAMS
Linear Hydraulic drive units are recognized by both the marine industry and the serious yachtsmen as the best possible form of Pilot Drive. The Network Linear Hydraulic drives are a must for anyone who expects to use their Network Pilot on a long distance trip where arduous conditions are likely to be encountered. Peace of mind can be achieved through the knowledge that 'Direct Drive' to the rudder stock/quadrant is the most efficient form of steering. Network's sturdy, dependable range of Rams come in 3 sizes.

ROTARY DRIVES
Suitable for powerboats and sailboats with mechanical sprocket and chain steering.

THE "BRAINS" of the SYSTEM
There are 2 types of computer unit, both of which have equal intelligence, but which are designed to manage the different voltages and currents required by different drive sizes.

ACP1 - Suitable for 12 volt T1 drive units.

ACP2 - Suitable for T2 or T3 drive units, 12 or 24 volts.

Both incorporate a simple mounting system that makes installation easy. They have a remote compass, the ACP2 is capable of handling a peak current of 25 amps.
